Our Joshua 1 Ministry team typically stays in Santa Fe, NM on the way to Pagosa Springs. This stop serves as a good location for a night of altitude acclimation. We usually arrive late in the evening after a full day of driving from Houston. We get up early, have breakfast and spend a few hours visiting the downtown Indian market, sight seeing and exploring the area. This portion of the trip (hotel stay and transportation is included in the full trip price)

Santa Fe, New Mexico’s capital, sits in the Sangre de Cristo foothills. It’s renowned for its Pueblo-style architecture and as a creative arts hotbed. Founded as a Spanish colony in 1610, it has at its heart the traditional Plaza. The surrounding historic district’s crooked streets wind past adobe landmarks including the Palace of the Governors, now home to the New Mexico History Museum.
